Overview |
It wasn't the best job in the world but when advertising executive Bill Rago (Danny DeVito) gets the bullet, a terrible truth dawns - he can't do anything else. Wrong! says the guy at the unemployment office - he can teach. To be precise he can teach basic English comprehension to a bunch of no-hopers at a nearby military base.
And that's when Bill's troubles really begin. His army bosses want him regimented, disciplined and doing everything at the double. His pupils just want him to leave them alone.
However, slowly but surely, and with a little help from William Shakespeare of all people, the over-the-hill adman and his class of under-achievers learn something much more important than English grammar... |
