16. MALL IN THE FAMILY
Working at the mall isn't what it's cracked up to be when Kerry – who has been promoted to assistant manager of a fast-food joint – may have to fire Jim, and C.J. – hired as mall security – busts Bridget for sneaking into a movie without paying.
17. LET'S KEEP GOING: PART 1
While on their way to grandma's house, Bridget and Kerry find Cate with a mysterious stranger, and Rory has a crush on Kerry's friend Rachel.
18. LET'S KEEP GOING: PART 2
Bridget and Kerry decide to take a detour from grandma's house and drive the open road to sort out their feelings after discovering Cate with Artie, Paul's successor at the newspaper.
19. C.J.'S PARTY
Cate banishes C.J. from the house after discovering that Bridget attended his college kegger party, and Jim is forced to take his driver's license test with Kerry.
20. MOTHER'S DAY
As Mother's Day approaches, Cate tries to figure out why Bridget and Kerry are acting so strangely, and C.J. and Rory doubt Jim's ability to put an engine back together before the owner comes to claim his car.
21. THE PRINCIPAL
Cate doesn't make a good impression on Bridget and Kerry's new principal when she forgets that he and she attended high school together, and Jim is ashamed to admit that C.J. has become his massage therapist.

Cate begrudgingly agrees to meet with Principal Gibb after she forgets to turn in some paperwork on Kerry, and Jim lands himself a girlfriend.
