Overview
Revenge is the destiny I was given by God...

Tarantino slashes off all common sense!

An ex-assassin so called "The Bride" (Uma Thurman) is the one who was attacked by her former boss Bill and his men (followers). She promises herself revenge when she wakes up from 4 years of coma and realises she not only got killed by her husband, but also lost her baby. The Bride meets Hattori Hanzo (Sonny Chiba), the mentor of Bill and learns the secret of a legendary sword and the fight in Okinawa, then leaves for Tokyo. She takes revenge on her first target 'O-Ren Ishii' (Lucy Liu) who controls the mafia of whole Tokyo.

Quentin Tarantino, who won an award in Cannes with Pulp Fiction, made greater evolvement and came back with this Super-Action-Entertainment with mixed elements of Samurai, Kungfu, Spaghetti Western and Japanimation which he deeply loves! It shocked the world when he decided it to be two movies instead of one.
