"Why do I do this?" is a question I've asked myself many time since becoming a comedian. The first time I was conscious of this thought, I was about to perform a 12-minute set during a senior prom, on a boat, traveling around Manhattan. Why do I do this? Why didn't I just open a hardware store and marry the girl down the street? But even though I asked the question, I always knew the answer. Because Home Depot would have put me out of business, leading to alcohol abuse and an ugly divorce. The other reason was that someday I would be able to live my dream of taping a stand-up special in a packed theater. I'm really proud of this performance and I hope you enjoy it.
